Nominations Open Today

Every even year nominations occur for officers on the executive committee to ensure that all members interested in serving have an opportunity to do so! Terms last for two years. Members may self-nominate or nominate a co-worker to a position. Please ensure that the co-worker agrees to serve before nominating.
 
The executive team acts as a steering committee to conduct the day-to-day business of the Coquille Valley bargaining unit of ONA. They also act as the negotiating committee during negotiations.

These positions are:
Chairperson
Vice-Chair
Secretary
Treasurer
Grievance Chair
Membership Chair 
PNCC Chair

The bargaining unit must maintain the minimum number of members of Chairperson, Vice-Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer or they are considered to be in trusteeship with the union until they are able to meet the requirements of the bylaws.

The Coquille bargaining unit is happy to announce that your new contract was ratified on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023. 71% of the bargaining unit participated in the voting and of those, 100% voted yes to ratification.

Grievances

Your contract has provisions outlining how to file a grievance and the grievance process specific to this bargaining unit. ONA staff or a member of the local grievance or negotiating committee should be consulted if you have questions, concerns, or need assistance filing a grievance.
